Our Programmes
Concern has been working in Pakistan since 2001, and has development programmes in 3 provinces: KPK, Balochistan and Punjab. Concern Worldwide's Pakistan programme currently has around 90 local staff members, works with a number of LNGO partners across the country and has forged strong links with government departments at the local, provincial and federal levels. Concern has established offices in Islamabad, Quetta, Abbottabad, Multan and in August 2010, with the onset of the devastating floods, Concern established an office in Hyderabad, Sindh.
Our programmes focus mainly on Livelihoods, Health and Emergencies, while HIV & AIDS, Disaster Risk Reduction and Equality are important cross-cutting themes.
